Bloomsday lands on June 16<sup>th</sup>, the same day his 1922 released novel takes place (1904). The novel simply details the ordinary day-to-day activities of the protagonist Leopold Bloom (hence where the name Bloomsday comes from) on June 16<sup>th</sup>. However, Ulysses’s structuring, experimental aspects, language, humour and rich characterisation has led it to be depicted as one of the best masterpieces written in history!</span></span></span></p>
