The Crios Belt tradition comes from a time in which they were handmade by the islanders and worn by both men and women. Often used in marriage ceremonies to bound together the partners hands, it was then said that the couple had 'tied the knot'. This large throw can be used both as a throw and as a decorative blanket. It is made from soft Irish lambswool, and it is suitable for men and women.
