The Island range of Celtic pashmina scarves is inspired in the several Islands of Ireland. This green and orange weave has its name from the Arranmore Island, one of the very few places in Ireland where the biggest part of the population is a native Irish speaker. It is a place that draws many American visitors who discover that their ancestors were among the ones forced to leave the island in the Great Famine of the mid 1800s.
