In an Irish monastery many centuries ago the Celtic Trinity Knot was created on the pages of illuminated manuscripts. Stopping only to eat and pray, monks would work with infinite care to illustrate the gospels. The Trinity- Traditionally has three points. Has many meanings originally a symbol for mind body and soul in Pagan culture. In Wicca it represents Mother, Maiden and Crone. Mainly associated as being the Holy Trinity (Father, Son and Holy Ghost/ Spirit). It can also represent true love as it has no beginning and no end. More recently in the States it has become known as the Mother’s knot representing Grandmother, Mother and Daughter. Also represents past, present and future.
